The Atlas
High peaks

The Atlas

The mountains, in a breath

An hour from Marrakech, four thousand metres up.

The High Atlas begins forty minutes from Marrakech. Imlil, Ourika, Toubkal — Berber villages, terraced fields, Arabian horses, simple lunches, snow in winter.

The Maison works with mountain houses ranging from a single Berber farmhouse to a private chalet with staff at two thousand metres.

Maison advice

An add-on, not a destination.

The Atlas is best added to a Marrakech stay — a single night up, two nights for Toubkal climbers.

All year
Different mountain

Spring blooms, summer cool, autumn clear, winter snowed. Each has its character.

Stay
One to two nights

Day trips work; one night up is more rewarding.
