Casablanca,
the White City.

The Kingdom's commercial capital — Art Deco, Atlantic, and quietly sophisticated. Where business becomes a weekend.

The city, in a breath

The Kingdom's other capital.

Casablanca is not Marrakech. It is quieter, denser, more European — and often underestimated by visitors who never see past the airport. The Maison's position is the opposite: a weekend in Casablanca is one of the great quiet luxuries of Morocco.

The city is Art Deco at its core — a century of French and Moroccan architecture wrapped around the Atlantic. The Royal Mansour Casablanca has set a new bar for palace houses in the city; the Hassan II Mosque is second only to Mecca in scale; and the old Ville Nouvelle, walked slowly, is a revelation.

Most of our principals come for business, and stay for the weekend. We compose accordingly.

01 · The Mosque

Hassan II,
at dawn.

The Maison arranges a pre-opening visit to the Hassan II Mosque — the only mosque in the country open to non-Muslims. A private guide, empty hall, the ocean through the glass floor. One of the Kingdom's quiet wonders.

03 · The table

The Kingdom's
finest table.

Casablanca is where the best Moroccan cuisine quietly lives — at Rick's Café, La Sqala, Le Cabestan, and (for our principals) a family table in Anfa that is not public. We book, we brief, we recommend.
