At sunrise, the light turns the High Atlas snow-caps pink and gold while the Agafay desert steppe rolls below in shades of ochre. Silence, except for the occasional burst of the burner.
The Experience
Pre-dawn Pickup: Your chauffeur collects you from your riad at 05:30. Coffee and croissants in the vehicle. Transfer to the Agafay desert launch field, 40 minutes southwest of Marrakech.
Inflation and Launch: Watch the balloon unfurl and fill as the sky turns from purple to rose. Briefing from your pilot. Then ascent — smooth, effortless, immediate.
The Flight (60–75 minutes): Drift at 200–800m depending on wind conditions. The Atlas Mountains — including Toubkal — are visible on clear mornings. Below: Berber villages, agave-covered plains, the distant minaret skyline of Marrakech.
Landing: Wherever the wind takes you — the crew follows by vehicle. Champagne served on the landing field (mint tea for non-drinkers). Traditional Berber breakfast under a Bedouin tent.
Return Transfer: Back to your riad by 10:00, in time for a late breakfast or spa morning.
Private Charter vs Shared Flight
